Default multi misfire 00 Avenger

I have a multi-misfire on my 00 Avenger. I believe that the starter might be the cause. I traced it to the positive cable and replaced it. The car ran great for a day and then acted up again. If I pull on the positive cable the car will die. If I move it again I can get it to run again. I had replaced the starter about six months ago. I don't know enough about this car so I am looking for help. Do you think this makes sense?
Any help would be appreciated.

A multi cylinder misfire will NOT be caused by the starter... You don't state MOTOR I'll assume V6
Is the CEL Flashing ? If so this is a multi cylinder misfire.
Likely causes are oil in the spark plug holes , Bad Plug Wires, Bad Cap/Rotor or bad distributor

CHECK the work /// Plugs still dry /oil free ? Check inside the cap/rptor for arcing sparking

I had a misfire on my 2.5 and borrowed a friend's scanner. I found I had 2 cylinders misfiring. One was caused by a bad plug and the other was caused by a bad plug wire (I just had a tune up done a few months earlier)
