98 Avenger wire harness mutilated
So I have this friend that recently acquired a 98 Avenger which runs great. However, its wire harness (mid-one of three, behind the stereo) has been hacked and slashed. This is the supposed reason for the power windows/locks and gauges not working, and so I agreed to help her fix it...
Now to the actual problem, the harness that was given with the car isn't the factory issued one, and so the wire color scheme as well as the pin configuration do not entirely match. All of which I can easily handle if only I had a picture or diagram of the original setup. Done with the online searching and have already purchased a Haynes Repair Manual with no success.
I assure you that any and all help will be greatly appreciated!

I guess I'm not following what you want ... Since it has a non original harness any original harness will not match up either ... The Stereo harness is easy ...

(1)The harness I have, was also cut from another car (I believe a Sebring)and is yet to be installed (connecting of wires) but it does fit the original connector. I just need to know where the wires would go in relation to the pins on an Avenger that hasn't been altered, here are the 16 original wires I see coming from inside the dash...
blue is pin...?
blue/white is pin...?
blue/black is pin...?
blue/orange is pin...?
light green is pin...?
dark green/black is pin...?
small black/white is pin...?
black/blue is pin...?
black/red is pin...?
black/red is pin...?
black/white is pin...?
black/white is pin...?
red/blue is pin...?
yellow/red is pin...?
yellow/green is pin...?
brown/white is pin...?

(2)Duly noted. Just the same, I figure diagnosis for other problems will be much easier if I eliminate this rather annoying one.

Ok, upon taking a picture I removed what appears to be the turn signal box (which also seemed outta place given it was quick tied)... in doing so I've come to realise that I told you the wrong harness. In a picture of My Album, I have it marked as #3, sorry for the confusion.
