I imagine that throttle body could be really dirty. Never opened or cleaned that. And i never took a look at the hoses. Maybe indeed there is a leak or something. The hard cold temperatures, -32 C here, maybe did something bad to hoses. Now it's +2C and there "you" have it. Problems are showing up.

But what is IAC? And where is it?

IAC = Idle Air Control .

Thank you.
I bought the "Carb & throttle cleaner" spray (500ml).
Hopefully it helps me to cleanup the TB and IAC.

Idle is somewhat better atm, but still goes below 1000, which i think is too low, then again a bit up. It scares me.

EDIT: Do i need any new gaskets if i remove anything, either IAC or something else in the area?

I've removed them numerous times and not used a new gasket

you could also have a bad EGR valve allowing unmetered air in

I removed 2 bolts and unplugged a few plugs and got it. It was very very dirty.
Real nightmare. 5-6 hours of cleaning with that special spray etc and it looked like new one. Put this all back together, also adjusted my throttle cable and now it feels like new car. It runs so smoothly, i almost can't even feel when it changes the gears.
I just hit the gas pedal and it just goes, smoothly like on butter.

I am very satisfied with the result. Will see, if this did improve the gas mileage also or not.

What's the normal idle RPM for Dodge Avg?
1000? 1100?

It works fine, but i think i could adjust the throttle cable once again.

the throttle cable should not be used to adjust idle , thats controlled by the iac
using the throttle cable can waste gas

mine idles at around 950 rpm

I should receive my Avenger books today or tomorrow, i will take a look what they say about it.

When i cleaned throttle the weather was so bad, i just did a quick adjust and that's all.

I knew i must take another look.

I have the same problems with idling up and down, the shaking, and check engine light. it is the O2 sensor and possibly a blown Head gasket I am replacing my Head gasket now but I am not worrying about the O2 sensor for now and yes a bad O2 sensor you will go through more gas. another thing to check and possibly change with that Evap Code is your gas cap I just had to change my moms out on her 2006 Pontiac G6 because it was kicking the evap code also.

Sometimes when i go to gas station and i remove gas cap, i hear some "sssss" noise. I mean like some pressured air coming out of gas tank.

Is this normal?
It's not always, just randomly. Maybe when fuel level is very low.
