Default Need a little help, window issue

hey, this is my 1st post here on Dodge Forum so sorry if i sound like a noob, also my first dodge

alright so i have a 96 avenger. the drivers side window works fine but the problem is the metal or maybe aluminum strip at the top is pretty banged up due to the previous owner being a dumbf*ck.

so the window rolls up but doesnt go back into the mold or whatever its called, therefore causing it to overlap and gap out.

anybody know what this thing is called and maybe where i can find a new one, online or some parts store????

its the black trim running across the top of the door where the window is supposed to roll up into, i cant seem to find anything on it.

Thanks guys

Belt w'strip , Belt w'strip Left
MOLDING FRONT DOOR B
List Price : $91.00
Your Price : $65.52

I doubt that this would cause what you are complaining of it sounds more like the regulator or track is damaged. it might need the slides adjusted as well

the tracks havewhite plastic adjusters there's a 10mm bolt that locks them and I think a 3mm hex to adjust them tighter , if it's loose floppy the old owner closed the door using the window and may have bent the track and spread it out
