Hello,

I had some problems with idling/racing and eventually my CEL came on and the code indicated 25: Idle Air Control valve. I have since replaced that and the car has made a vast improvement, however, the CEL is still on and the key dance still produces code 25.

The Haynes manual I have says that the CEL can be reset on 1996 & 97 models by disconnecting the battery cable for 10 seconds. It makes no mention of the 1995. Nevertheless, I tried this but it did not clear it.

Does anybody know how to clear it? I'm pretty sure I fixed the problem.

i'd disconnect it for longer then 10 seconds 5/10 minutes

 

I've been sick so I forgot to post. Last Thursday, I noticed the CEL was off while driving. It comes on like normal when I turn the key (but I forgot to test the key dance yet). Anyway, it seems to have cleared itself up. Cool!
