Hi everyone newbie here. I purchased an 97 Avenger ES as a project car. It has the 2.5 and an auto trans. Is there anything out there that lens itself to a relatively easy swap for a bit more power and a 5 speed? Thanks for the thoughts.

 

The 3.0 is any easy swap , but there are no easy 5 speed swaps for that platform (direct bolt)

 

So what are my options for a 5 spd? Any ideas

 

There ARE no options that are a direct bolt there was ONE shop that did a 5 speed swap but they are out of business and the secret died with them
