yeah, make it. if you're scared to devirginize your hood, go to a junkyard, buy a used hood (paint quality doesn't matter since you'll need to paint it anyway). Buy A Scoop Off Ebay For $25 Shipped, and learn how to fiberglass. Something as simple as that is no problem, it's all about patience. check out my hood, it's a fiberglassed scoop. if you use your hood you can get away with about $200 invested, between the scoop, fiberglass, and paint. add another $50 if you get a junkyard hood. that's way less than half the price of the other hood (after shipping and paint) Then when people ask where you got the Sweet hood, you can take pride in saying you did it yourself, and know you mean more than 4 bolts worth of work.
