Ok guys, I recently changed the transmission in my 98 avenger with a 2.5 motor in her. After getting the transmission all bolted up to the block, I tried to turn it over and the starter does make contact with the flywheel, however something seems to be binding it up because it just wont turn over. The battery is all good with 12 volts and I do remember having to rotate the engine assembly to have to connect them 4 bolts to the flywheel/torque converter so I know the motors NOT locked up. The thing started up just fine before the trans swap so I guess my question is could I have did something wrong while installing the trans/converter to the motor? Is it possible the torque converter is binding up not allowing the motor to turn over?
Give me your thoughts guys.
