Default 1995 Dodge avenger won't shift past second gear

Hello to everyone, I've read allot of the issues regarding the a604/41te transmission.. I'm running into a situation with my stock 1995 dodge avenger es 6cyl automatic transmission, just won't shift, I've replaced relays on fire wall, input sensors, TCM, o2 sensor, fluid and filter. Engine has 250k miles on it, was running a bit hot for a while then I changed the thermostat, this began about the time that the engine got a bit hot but never to the red. Lights inside don't work all, and that has been a progressive thing. I've done everything but have it rebuilt, which I'll do myself. I'm not experienced with this transmission but I am very adept with my hands loll.. Any help will be more than appreciated. A side note, one day I took the relay for the ac out of the car and it ran fine but never did again, since then I put the relay back in and well yeah that's the story

Couldn't find any relays on the transmission, now it's giving me a code p0055, and I can't seem to find any faults..

P0055, I think is ox sensor. There is a solenoid/relay unit on the tranny.

The solenoid pack is on the front of the trans. When the pack goes your stuck in 2nd.

I've replaced that pack that's in the front that's the TCM, it has a plug that has a bolt going through it, sorry if I'm not using the correct terminology

21 is the TCM. 18 is the solenoid pack. Looks like it should be behind the TCM

Alright, so I most definitely replaced the entire module with a brand new one, previous one is sitting some place in a spare box, looking at this old one I have yet to take apart, I thought the whole thing was the TCM with solenoid pack

So transmission still not working all that great, not shifting as usual #ilovemydodgemakeitwork. I noticed that the gear wanted to go into second yesterday after having done nothing to it, went into neutral and kicked back into second gear
