Default 97 avenger es wake up call

I just bought a 97 avenger es with the 2.5l, so far I love it has a few mods needs a few things but all in all I love it, but with how sporty it is, it feels like something's holding it back, are there any cheap and easy mods I can do to wake it up alittle more?

What mods? Tune up, less restrictive intake and exhaust would help a little. Welcome to the forum.

Just cosmetic, viper alarm system, tail lights head lights, audio system, is there nothing cheap/easy I can do like dull wholes in the air box, full cold air intake or something? Oh ya I do have a magnaflow end

A proper cold air intake and a full exhaust system 2.5" piping will liven it up quite a bit. Just a Magnaflow won't do anything for power, it just makes noise.
Being a Mitsu 6Gxx motor, they take very well to basic mods.

You can jury rig just about anything. Increasing power is neither cheap nor easy if you want to do it right. Aside from full on internal engine mods or boosting, freeing up the intake and exhaust is your best option.

Agreed.
Get a proper CAI, and exhaust on it and see if that satisfies you. If not, you can open it up and do some clean up on the heads and intake manifold, just cleaning up the factory slop does wonders on 6g motors.
