Default Looking for strut springs

Have a 97 Avenger base model with 2.5l. I am looking for new strut springs. The font end is sagging. I have already ordered 4 shocks/struts, but cannot find springs listed anywhere. Any ideas other than used from a junk yard? Any other models fit?

Any idea if the new struts/shocks without replacing the current springs will help keep the front end from sagging? Only has about 65,000 miles on it.

Hey!
I just read your question. Were you able to replace your front springs??? Or did you install your new struts with the old springs?

It’s been a while back, but I am pretty
sure I just replaced the shocks and kept the original springs, don’t think I could find the springs.

I see. Thanks for the quick reply. I just bought a 2000 Avenger Sport with the Mitsubishi 6G73 2.5L V6 a little less than a month ago. It's in great shape, but needs work: timing belt needs to be changed (visible cracking), AC is warm, etc. When compared to most modern-day sedans and coupes, I noticed the Avenger front-end is very low by design. I've learned the 1st generation Avenger shares the same platform with the 7G Mitsubishi Galant and 2G DSM Mitsubishi Eclipse/Eagle Talon twins and also uses the same double-wishbone front & rear suspension. I believe the double-wishbone suspension allows the front end to be as streamlined and low as it is. I was also thinking the 7G Galant or 2G Eclipse springs may fit your Avenger after reading your post. Anywho, I hope all is going well with your Avenger if you still own and drive it. Enjoy Your Ride! Aloha from Hawai'i!
