my 2000 dodge avenger is a real piece of work… but he’s my piece of work lol. Currently he has stopped accelerating randomly. often at stop lights or in traffic. Randy (the car) is a particular machine… I cleaned the throttle body and air intake tube and it was going swell. But again it’s starting to stall. I plugged in a code reader and nothing popped up. I recently changed his battery and the terminal, and that’s definitely helped. Still, something is rotten in the state of Denmark. Any help or guidance would be great!

 

I would start by verifying fuel pressure.
