alright, so car-stats.com says my avenger pulls a slow-as-hell 10.something seconds in it's 0-60.

my dad's 4cylinder accord, according to car-stats.com, will pull a 0-60 in about 7-8 seconds.


now. my question is, i KNOW my avenger is faster than my dad's accord. by alot. i've got the 2.5l 6cyl.

so, car-stats.com says that a '95 (unspecified engine) avenger does 0-60 in about 10 seconds.
my mom's old 10 year old minivan is faster than my new car according to car-stats.com

and according to car-stats.com, a honda INSIGHT (that thing of honda's...the hybrid...4cylinder with like 12 horsepower...) does 0-60 in 10.7 seconds. i know my avenger doesn't suck that much.



i KNOW this can't be right.

back when mine was stock it did 0-60 in 7 seconds. now it is down alot.

 

which one did you have dayton?

 

Our cars are slow. Weight has a lot to do with it...well, more so a weak motor. In the 1/4 they are good for mid-high 17's. Another reason why I swapped to a 4 cylinder.
Granted, a well maintained 2.5L can be boosted and with the proper supporting mods can put it in the 15's (with slicks). The Avenger/Sebring is good for looks...sorry.
