Hi Darick and welcome to DF and we hope you enjoy your stay
To start, the Eclipse is based off the Mitsubishi Galant's underpinnings and so is the Avenger/Sebring, so most of the two car's parts are interchangable....MOST. The radiator used from a 420a motored Eclipse is usable, note that the radiator found on 4G63 motored Eclipses are not. The front clip of the Eclipse is the same as Avengers as long as the motors are the same. I'm pretty sure the windshields are the same also since they share the same design, but this hasn't been tested! The entire door is the same, the center console can be swapped, the seats, the dash, suspension...I would say...from the back part of the doors to the bumper bar, the car's are identical...except for the obvious body panels, but even they can be swapped onto our cars without cutting.
Keeping all in mind that the motor needs to be the same for both cars for parts relating to the engine bay. If you have anymore questions please feel free to ask.

I've also never heard of our car's being referred to as a 7 bolt, V6 nor I4. Care to elaborate on this? The 2gen Eclipse with the 4G63 was referred to as a 7 bolt only because they came with a 7 bolt 4g63 (the block to be more accurate) and those blocks were more prone to, what's called "crankwalk" to the DSM community, but not the 420a.

only reason i refered to it as a 7 bolt is because it uses the same 7bolt flywheel the motor that i have is the 2.0 and is it also the same as the neon rt i've heard they are but the r/t has a more agressive exhaust cam or something and if this is true can i just swap that out? maybe pick up some ponies from that, but you are my savior with that if the door from the eclipse will bolt right on to the avenger as will other things then i am in so much luck cuz i just nabbed a ton of stuff from one :-D and i can go back for more hehe, put an eclipse gs front bumper on the avenger hehehehe

I'm not sure about the Neon's motor parts, sorry. As for the Eclipse front end swap, make sure to get the radiator bracket too as the fascia will mount to that and not our radiator bracket. I hope it's a 2gb fascia that you're referring to and not the 2ga one (smiley face fascia). The fenders will also need to be swapped in to include the headlights with some minor wiring alterations to include 1 or 2 sets of extra lighting. Hell, if you're going to do all of that, you might as well find a 4g63 AWD Eclipse/Talon and put that in there while you're at it, lol.

i've got a 6bolt 4g63t that i could put in there but I'd rather not too much work, i'll just use the avenger pieces which means junkyard hunting for me....oh well all i need right this second is a windshield.door handles and hood cuz i don't want my new car being rained in lol

I would like to add a little more information here.

Eclipse front clips as far as sheetmetal & engine compartment structure is SIMILAR but NOT the same, nor a simple bolt on, even the Avenger's front strut mount structure is deeper at the cap. I put a set of Eclipse stock front struts/springs on an Avenger and it lowered the front of the Avenger WITHOUT buying or using Lower springs, which also attests to the fact that Avenger strut tower structure is actually deeper than the Eclipse!

Eclipse Windshields are NOT the same and will NOT fit Avengers. Nor is the A post interior trim moulding.

Eclipse Interior wise uses a 160 speedo unlike the 140 Avengers,
The consoles in Eclipses are wider in the passenger seat area and the pass bucket seat is angle cut to clear the console, while the Avengers are not, meaning if you plan on changing using Eclipse seats or console use the Eclipse seats and console as a package, as your Avenger pass seat will not clear the Eclipse console properly.

The Doors and trim panels will interchange HOWEVER you must change the door glass as Eclipse and Avengers have different roof lines.

The outside rear view mirrors are different as well as the interior trim bezels for the mirrors.

The rear trim panels and seats will NOT work in Avengers.

The Sunroof and assoc parts are the same except for minor difference in the switch **** on the different years.
