I was driving today and my avenegr was running fine, but when i parked my car steam started to come out of my Coolant Reservoir and it was bubbling, like it was boiling...my friend says im low REALLY low on coolant, but i wanna be sure, any help guys

 

might sound stupid, but what mixture of coolant do u have? if its not properly mixed then it will boil...

 

Next time your motor is cold Frank, check your coolant level. It may be time to change your thermostat. Check your hoses and make sure they're not cracked on the ends. Look for leaks. Where does your temp gauge needle go up to? Middle or slightly above that is normal. Need more info though. I don't think it's anything serious...yet, but check the obvious stuff first and make sure that you're not just using water alone. Maybe it's time for a flush too.

Jakbob's right too, I would suggest making it easier on yourself and get the premixed 50/50 stuff.

 

Im using 50/50 now, it the needle stays in the middle (Like Normal) but i filled with coolant and its fine now, im still going to replace my thermostat, thanks guys for your help

 

yeah a pretty common problem ppl do is just put a bottle of 100% and fill the rest with water when you should really premix it before you put it in your car...cause even if it says 4 quarts (just a number off the top of my head) you wont get all 4 quarts out...so...premixing...its great...
