Default stutter under acceleration

I have a 95 2.0, 5 speed, 150,000 miles. Starts great, idles great, misses under medium to heavy acceleration. Light acceleration will be fine. Replaced plugs and coil with no change at all. Any tips?

Check you pcv valve, make sure all your vacuum lines aren't old and cracked and have your egr checked. Do you get a CEL?

..and welcome to DF.

Your coil is usually good or bad. It will not usually cause a miss. Last time my car ran like that I had a cracked spark plug. One of the replacement plugs were cracked so I thought it was something else. I changed plugs and wires and the problem went away. I also had the induction service done on it. It helped with my acceleration.

How do I check the egr? You say have it checked. Does that mean I cannot do it myself?
