I have a '97 Avenger ES, 2.5L V6 with 140,000 miles. The engine misfires on acceleration. Codes are p0113 (IAT sensor), P0123 (TPS high voltage) & P0302 (cyl #2 misfire). TPS voltage & resistance readings didn't match the expected readings from Chiltons. Replacing the sensors reduced, but didn't resolve the misfire condition.

I'd appreciate any knowledge of this issue and suggestions for other things to check.

 

Last time I had a misfire type problem I replaced the wires and plugs. I found that I had a cracked spark plug and the wires were cracking near the boot. I also had a TPS that was failing so I just replaced the entire throttle body. It runs like a champ now.
