suspension question

RE: suspension question
They will work perfectly if you have the 420a but won't match up weight wise if you have the 6G73. If you do have the 420a, then make sure you get coilovers for the RS/GS. The spring rates will match up with what you have since they use the same motor and only weigh slightly less than the Avenger.

RE: suspension question
But you can make big hp with the 420a also....
All you need to do is rebuild the motor with forged internals ARP headstuds, 4 layer metal head gasket, etc. All of which will cost around the same as getting a 4g63, getting it rebuilt..cause you're not going to want a wrecked GST/GSX just to use a motor that's been sitting awhile without a rebuild and if you get one that's running, why not just keep the car? Plus, you have to consider motor mount fabrication and placement, wireharness, suspension. A motor swap isn't just a motor
Anyway, with a rebuilt 420, not only do you get a stronger motor, but you don't have to worry about swapping anything and fabbing mounts + other things. IMO, if you're going to keep it fwd, keep the 420...build it up, and turbo it. No sense in spending roughly the same amount of money...420 rebuild + parts is roughly equal to a 4g63 rebuild + parts...then there's time and money fabbing because the motor is on the other side.
IMO, if you're going to do a swap like that, do a complete swap, otherwise, build up what you have. Once the internals are of the same quality, the outside shell only matters a little bit...in most cases.
That's my .02 on that.
