What speakers have worked with you?
IMO, it's a waste of time to run new wires unless you have an amp for your front speakers (6x9s included). The stock wires are fine for an aftermarket headunits power and really make no difference in sound. The only reason for running new wires would be if you are looking to amplify the power to the 4-6 speakers with an amp down the road, otherwise IMO, stay with what you have.
I would instead bypass the stock amp since that is the bottleneck to better sound. I can get you the amps wiring if you need it.

yeah that would be great im gonna buy new door speakers and rear speakers. rear are 6*9 and door is 5 1/4 right? how can i bypass the amp? this wouldn't help the sound? thank u
The amp plug has wires going into it from the headunit and wires going out of it to the speakers. Let me know if this is something you will do so that I can find the wiring diagram for you.
ORIGINAL: Morriccio
ok, I spent a bunch of time figuring out what goes where.
The Big Connector:
2 red wires: 12v Constant (connected even when car is off! Disconnect battery before messing with!)
2 Black Wires: Grounding screw
White/black wire: Remote Turn on from HU
Input Pairs:
White/blue FL+ Black/blueFL -
White/Red FR + Black/red FR -
Yellow/Red RR + Gray/Red RR -
Yellow/Blue RL + Gray/Blue RL -
The little Connector:
All outputs to speakers
(Colors of outputs are the same as inputs)
There are two pairs of wires with the same color as the rear L/R speaker wires.
One pair, you can visibly see goes to the speakers themselves, right from the connector, the other pair goes into the big bundle, those are the front Dash L/R Speakers.
Hope this helps anybody trying to use these connections, especially if you're doing what I'm doing and removing the infinity but still want to keep bal/fade functionality.

I just ran new wires. It wasn't to hard to get a pair of 16 awg speaker wire thru the door grommet tube. Of course I had to run the door speaker (6.5") and the dash tweeter (1") to the crossover. The crossover ran back to the trunk to the amp.

is there anyway to take the infinity amp out and hook another directly up? What wattage is the infinity amp? And is there a way to tighten the rear speaker deck cover to decrease ribration with subs in the trunk? Did you say the doors are 6.5, good thing i didn't buy any last weekend.
