It's a pretty tall motor, remember, it's made for a taller engine bay. Some have only used the 3.8 plenum for a larger intake volume (still won't do much since the motor has to be accomodated too). Not to mention the weight that would put onto the car, it would be just as heavy as my car with the AWD drivetrain without the AWD part, lol. IMO, if you're going to add weight onto a car, make it RWD or AWD. Remember that the back of the car dips when a lot of power is applied, not the front.

There's no way that my wife's 3.8L V6 in her GC will fit in my car. Plus, it's still an automatic!

 

What about a 2.7 that will give an extra 50hp. 2.5 rated at 150hp.. 2.7 rated at 200hp

 

That's what the 6g73 3.0L V6 will put down in our cars. It's almost a bolt on or a swap process too, no modification of anything, you run the same computer and you run the same tranny that's already in the Avenger. The 2.7 nor the 3.8 have not been used in the Avenger. The Diamante's 3.8 throttle body has though.
