Default Looking for an Avenger?

Hey guys,
I'm looking to buy a dodge avenger, but i'm not sure what year to get. I'm looking for years between 95 and 99. What year do you think is the best? Should I get an Es version? Also which years are more reliable such as engine problems and those sort of things.

Thanks

They are all the same for the most part, so the newer the better. I would definately get the ES if I were you, they look better since they have the ground effects and more aggressive looks, plus they have the V6 which has more power. The only problem with the V6 versions is that they only come with an automatic, you can get the 4 cylinders with an automatic or a manual transmission.

I have a '95 Dodge Avenger that I wouldn't mind selling if the price is right. 13ig13ad13rad@comcast.net

They redesigned them for 97, so the 97-00 are, in my opinion best.

if ur lookin for power go with an es v-6, if u want somethin u cant kill go for the i-4. ive tried to kill my 4 banger and those i-4's are just indestructable.......the v-6's tend to have more problems but if u take good care of it and dont redline it the v-6 will treat u good.
