Two problems?
I wonder if the vibration problem I have been having is actually two simular problems. I was thinking that it almost sounds and feels as though I have an exhaust resonance that starts around 3000 RPM and a drivetrain vibration that is amplifying that vibration. The only thing it looks like I could do about the exhaust is to take off some of the shields and replace some of the anchors. I was going to replace my CV joints thinking this would take care of the drivetrain vibrations. I have a friend who is a good mechanic tell me he thinks the CV's need to be replaced. This is for my 98 Avenger with the 2.0 5 speed w/ 215K+ miles.
