Default RE: cold air intake

when trying to help somebody with there car problems it usually isn't a good idea to "make numbers up"

Thats funny, you keep going on about it. Oh well there will alwasy be that 1.

Yes it will fit. By the way isn't there way you can contact the seller of that part and exchange the intake circumference sizes. Even if it doesn't fit though you can buy rubber fittings and clamps. If anything the piping might not be long enough but like i said b4 you can get attatchments.

And yo darkestxxnight prove me wrong on this 1 aight.

Ok, sorry for being late on this, but Pappi is correct about 2.0L 420a intakes will fit 2.5L 6g73 TB. I just want to put this to bed and hope that others search the database and find this.

If it is a 1995-1999 Non-turbo intake then

YES!!!!!!!!!

it will be a direct fit, although it may not be a perfect fit.

Here are some problems you may see.

1. clearance between the battery and the upper intake arm.

there are several ways to get around this.

trim the intake, remove or shield the bolt on the intake side of the battery.. other things like that

2. clearance with the wheel well plastic and the filter.

If this is the case just cut to fit, cut the plastic, not the intake

3. clearance with the trans level stick (auto only)

If this is the case just kinda push it out of the way, or you can move or bend it.

all of these are small problems, but the real issue is YES these intakes will fit.

Just like that. You should also have an "edit" option to the upper right hand side of your post.
