if they try to charge you more than 15 thell them off. it should only take 10 minutes. you dont have any friends with a high speed buffer/polisher?(non-orbital)

So you can actually get the scratches out? My windshield was messed up when I bought the car, it had a scratches that looked like someone purposely turned the wipers on without blades - This can be fixed for $20?

Those aren't scratches, lol. That is gouged. A scratch from a razor blade or a tool, maybe, but not from that, it's too deep to buff out.

I dont really think its a gouge since there is no depth to scratches, its just weird how the pattern shows the whole blade contact points. However I question if its repairable, I would think the micro-pits from sand would be more along the line though.

C mine is more like 5 different arcs from where the wiperblade was the least moist (If that make sense). Aight u know that movie cars and how there windshileds have eyes, u know where the top of their eyes start thats the my first arc and there is like an inch to 2 inches between each of the 5 arcs.

Yo silver no luck on that brillow thing, I'm personally too lazy and have too much pride to be layin on my hood like a car mag chick and wippin my windows. Also it seems that it would take a long time.

Ima pay sum1 to do it. What company would u think would be the cheapest, u guys keep saying detail shop and first thing that comes to mind is Maco.

detail is very localized. best bet is a bodyshop- then detailing only shop- last i would go to a dealer(detail only, dont ask them what to do they will tell you to replace the windshield. tell them you want their detailer to try to buff it out)

Yo I just called around and body shops don't do glass. So I hit up a glass shop and they said that ppl no longer buff glass because of the in gravings it sometimes leaves reflecting the sunlight wierd causing lawsuits. They also said it be alot cheap just 2 pay the $200 just 2 replace it cuz the shopsprolly charge $45 4 labor and may take 2 or more hours to buff. I'm still debating cuz they are galss ppl and they prolly say anything to get me to buy from them. Any1 have these problems after gettin their front windshield buffed out?
