Shifters, nah, it's pretty simple. You just take off the center console and you'll see the shifter and remove the pivot bolt and the linkage and replace and voila, done.

That's the same one I have too, lol.
One hint to those and you won't have an issue with it loosening itself. Use thread locker, just a dab or two and use all the hardware that it tells you to.
People always say to not get those ebay shifters because they are crap. That's a very vague discription IMO, some have fessed up to it getting loose on their own, but none of them ever used thread locker? I've had mine since for a little over a year I think and the only time it gets loose is when I loosen it, lol.
So, you're good to go on that. You can also just get a B&M so you can say that you have a "B&M"

Lol, so true. There are items that I don't skimp on but things like that, it really doesn't matter to me. I've heard folks stating that theirs broke from shifting it hard and I'm wondering how hard were they shifting! I don't know about theirs but mine's pretty solid.
Thread locker can be bought at any parts store, it doesn't have to be Loctite either, I got the other stuff and they haven't failed me yet. Actually, I have put tooooo much on before and the nut kicked my butt for 10 minutes because I put too much on, lol. That's it though. Oh yeah, get the blue stuff. That's the kind that allows you to take off the nut without popping a vein in your neck but it still keeps it nice and tight.
