stock avenger sport wheel offset
thanks for the fast reply. a buddy of mine put these wheels and tires on his 98 eclipse gst. they look pretty good on there but when he drives it the rear wheels rub the inner quarter panels, you wouldnt happent to know the stock gst wheel offset would you? has to be different if it were rubbing
Sure do, lol. GS-T/GSX offsets are 46mm. I'm not sure why your buddy's car rubs with Avenger wheels on, it's only a MM out?
How low is his car? and what size tires are on the rim? I assume stock 215/50/17, but just to make sure.

yeah, i think they are the stock size tire. his car is pretty low i think it has a 2inch drop on it. here is a pic of it before he put those rims and tires on it. the tires are rubbing just off the tred on the sidewall almost, youll see what i mean by how the rear tires fit in the wheel well...

Hmmm, he really shouldn't have rubbing issues though, not with 45mm offset wheels. I've got 40mm offsets and I rub, caused by big dips, on the treads sidewalls and I'm lowered 2" too. What kind of springs/coilovers does he have? His springs may not be stiff enough.
im not sure what he has back there but we both agree on them not being strong enough, definate plans in the spring to buy better ones though, thanks for the info though, it gave him a better idea of whats he lookin at
