Battery Corrosion Screwed me over
When owned by a previous owner my 2000 Dodge Avenger ES experienced a batter explosion. My mechanic found out that underneath everything corrotion is taking over. Is there any way to get rid of corrortion and maybe replace some damaged spots w/o being too expensive?
Help would be great
Thanx

You could find the corroded area and solder some clean strips of wire. If you can see where the corrosion is and is readily accessible, then you should be able to do it. Shops usually charge at least $60/hr (around that price).
Thanx. SC. Also i was looking for some HOW To info on changing a Washer Fluid pump. I'm sure that's what's wrong, although it could be a fuse? Any idea where the fuse is located?
Thanx again, oh and by the way i got my limp mode tranny problem taken care of.

Limp mode is gone!! Woot!
The pump is fairly easy to swap out, it's a matter of popping out the old one and popping in the new one, lol. Getting the resevoir out of that cramped area is something else, lol. I don't remember there being a fuse for the washer, so I will have to say to check all the fuses under the dash and in the engine bay...sorry that wasn't very helpful [>:]
