Default timing belt on a v6

Hey guys I was wondering how hard from a scale of 1 to 10 on how hard it will be to put a new timing belt and tensior on my venge. i have the v6 so i know it will be a pain in the butt i just dont wanna pay the bucks to do it. I am hearing a kinda loud tick from over in there and i am think what the heck lets just change it and to do the water pump too why i am already there.... so any input or any suggestions will be greatly apprechiated. and if anyone has some how to guid on how to do this let me know where i can find it... thanx a lot

Joe, the best guide, I have to say, is probably a Haynes/Chiltons manual.
It's a very tight area to work in and the easiest way to make room is to remove everything out of the way, lol. You'll have to remove a few things, to get the t-belt in anyway, you'll see what I mean. You're on the right track about the water pump too.
About this ticking noise...are you referring to lifter tick? Does it go away after the motor has warmed up or is it constant?

the ticking i am hearing is now a constant tick and it dont sound like it is comeing from the motor itself, but from the passenger wheel area its kinda got me woried. I thought it was a lifter tick but i am not to sure it is now and if it is how easy of a fix is that???
