ill give u my 2 sense if u dont mind.....dont get the stupid things.....more trouble than theyr worth.....xspecially at night n u go by n the cop sees the green light up on the dash.....buddy of mine never got caught speeding until he got one.....the night he got it bam gets socked with doing 15 over......so i just think they r not worth it
.....just my opionon tho

As an ex cop, there is no radar detector on the market that will beat 'instant-on" radar simply because the operator (cop) doesn't activate the radar via a button on the steering wheel until he sees his target. Yes, your detector will go off...........about 2 seconds too late. Your best hope with "instant on" is that it's aimed at another car in your area, and you receive a reflective signal off of it..........In other words, don't speed down an empty road unless you KNOW the cops don't hang out there......

Other than the very high end Bells Whisler is the only way to go.
