Default power steering

My 99 2.5L avenger is giving a code for bad power steering pressure switch. So I'm trying to replace it and was wondering if anyone has done this before? The switch/sensor is blocked by the bracket holding the power steering pump in place. I figured that I'll have to remove the pump from the backet to change it. Is this right and does anyone have any suggestions for removing the pump like does the pulley have to come off to get to the bolts?

Default RE: power steering

Are you losing fluid pressure or fluid? Is the PS fluid leaking past the PS resevoir cap? Or are you certain that it is the actual pressure switch that is throwing the code?
