I would start at the obvious things first, like...your relays and fluid. The TCM normally doesn't "act up", it's usually the other electrical or mechanical parts first.
Check your fluid for level, color, odor (don't taste it though..), and for any metal particals. The fluid should be pinkish and shouldn't have a "burning" or "burnt" smell to it. Although, it won't smell pleasant to begin with, lol. The fluid is more commonly the issue though. The A604 tranny should have MOPAR ATF+3 running through it, anything else is a 50/50 gamble on if it works longer than a year, and in turn, shortening the tranny's life even more.
