what is the govenor on an avenger V6?
I have a 1996 avenger V6 and ive heard that its govenor is at about 120, but the car seems to be reving REALLY high at about 110, so thats why i was wondering. Im just curious.

I forget what the gov is set at. 120 I believe, maybe 130...I forget which. I've gone 120 through Texas..then again, my car was still fairly new then. Ah, the younger years...

I have a 99. The gov. is at 136. Also the reason it is pulling such i RPMs aroung 100 is that if you have it floored it wont shift into 4th you have to let up a bit and let it get into 4th then your set to go to your 136.

Where abouts in TX cuz Im there now. There is a road in Galveston thats like amile long. Also on Tuesdays there is a meet off of 249, and also there is the Beltway 8 thats what I did it on but its was 4 in the morning and no1 I MEAN NO CAR ON that road.

NICE! I too far from I-20. But I scared to push her over 120 cuz it sounds like the pistons want to shoot right throught the roof also I need my tires blanced and alignment redone. My Black @$$ wuz drifting in the rain LOL!
