Default new dude engine swap question

hey I have a 95 4cyl Dodge avenger 5spd manual. i was wondering if a neon SRT4 engine would swap into it?

There's only one guy that I know of that has done something like this and it was pieced together with PT Cruiser turbo parts.
The deck height of the motor seems higher than what our engine bay can cover too...that's an eyeball measurement btw.

oh. what would be the best way to increase my hp without swapping to a V6? This is my first domestic car so I'm not exactly sure on how, what or where to get everything.

Turbo?

as for the SRT swap.... I have heard that if you use a whole SRT block/head that you may have some issues with the firewall.

you can swap the 2.4 and keep the top end. there is a guy in MO that will do it for $1,200. that includes $800 in parts. just seems a lot simpler to have the turbo up front than in back.
