Default site newbie with questions

Hello to all i'm new to this site but have been watching it for some time.
I have a 95 avenger with 4cyl dohc mitsu + 5 speed trans i bought 1 year ago for $500. bucks. car needed nothing to pass safety & emmision test when i bought it. Two month after she went on the road she sprang a bad oil leak after an oil change, Dodge dealership said it was a head gasket and there price to repair would be close to a thousand dollars with parts & labor. I got a head gasket set from the united states and fixed it myself for less than $200 dollars canadian. after i tore down top end of motor i found only the exhaust cam seal was out so i did head gasket and all above that anyways.Car has not let me down yet but it has ( since i bought it ) a hard time while i 1st gear to stay at a speed below 20km per hour like driving thru a parking lot or trailer park. It seems to go into a dead mode then takes off and picks up speed. Any ideas guys ???
I also need to replace my rad support due to rust and rot, I have a perfect one from a 98 avenger to replace it with. ( anyone done this yet ?? ). After that i need to replace all 4 shocks, bearings and mounts ( very noisy over rough roads ). Cruz control not working, I replaced all the parts and according to dash it says working but it is no engaging, there seems to be a lot of slack in cruz control cable. ( input I need input please ).

the cruise cable is somewhat adjustable on the v6. haven't looked on my 4. just an idea, might be worth checking. mine was very poor when i got her on the bottom end. one can of injector cleaner on a long haul and she was all better.

I fail to see where i can make the amount of ajustment needed on my 4 cylinder cruise cable, It would need about 3/4 to 1 inch of ajustmemt. Injector cleaners of all kinds have been dumped into this thing, Dodge dealership says it is my throtle body. My throtle body is clean but who knows. maybe even a sensor somewhere although there are no codes to indicate there is a sensor problem.
