is there a way to re-build your tranny so that you arent running so many rpms on the hwy ?

That's your speed limiter. I'm surprised that you even got up there. I know the V6 is governed at around 130. I don't remember if there was something to bypass that, but your tires are most likely H rated which is stable up to 130. Honestly, you don't even need to be at such a high speed. Build and boost your motor and put the speed on the tracks, not on our streets bud

no the thing is, is i want to time my turbo to spool at like 3000rpm but when im just daily driving on the highway im running at 3400rpm's at 80mph so i was wondering if there was a way that i coul get my gears "spaced out " so that i will have better accelaration and be able to cruise at 80mph pn the highway under 3000rpm's so that im not running on my turbo. DOES THAT MAKE SENSE ???????

thanks again for anny advice
