420a-4g63t swap????????
hey does anyone know how hard it is to swap out a 420a in a 99 avenger to a 4g63 i want to swap out both motor and tranny and for a pull and a swap itis like $800-$1100 at some of the local shops so i guess the real question is
is there any fab work in any of the motor or tranny mounts
and where is the best place to get a good quality low mile motor and tranny with the ecu and wiring harness????

Since the motor mounts are on opposite sides, the left and right will have to be fabbed, the crossmember will have to be extended. You will need all of the Eclipse/Talon engine bay parts to include the suspension and engine harness. You will also need the cabin's harness swapped out and that includes the ECU.
The junkyard is the best place to get a front clip (that's the bumper to midway of the front of a car). Don't forget to get the motor rebuilt, it does you no good to get a used motor that may have sat for years at the yard only to have major issues with it after you put it in.
