Default need opinions...

i was cleaning the grill on the beast and am wondering which looks better?
with out the mesh?

I think I like it with out that specific insert. But some can make it look okay. I installed some on mine years ago. It is hard to notice until you get up close. Here is a quick pic.

Looks like you black out your wheels too.

I think they look good. But seem somewhat restrictive on air. I have screen in mine like Crazy's except its behing the grill.

my old grill had a baseball sized hole in it when i got the truck and i got the grill i have now with those inserts. i have actually noticed a difference in temperature on the gauge. before it would go to almost half way and when i took them off it only went up almost a quarter of the way. so i think i'm going to keep them off.

yeah i took some flat black enamel , cleaned up the rims(with the tires still on) and spray about 2 coats on each rim, then i took some duplicolor acrylic enamel and sprayed another 2 coats on each rim.

they only have scratches on them from the tire installers.

i sprayed them in february '09 too
