Hello all! New guy from the dusty desert town of Hemet, CA.
Just purchased my first Dodge Truck. It's a 1994 Dodge Dakota SLT w/a Magnum V8. It has almost 63K miles on it. I picked it up from a friend of mine that needed some cash...got it for $700! He named the price and I jumped on it. The body is pretty clean but paint has faded and lots of visible primer spots. Needs new tires, shocks (getting them this week) and a paint job. I went and had some of the mechanical stuff fixed before I start dressing it up. Engine idles a little rough but passed smog w/o any issues. Other than the rough idle, the truck runs great.
I'm looking forward to reading and sharing experiences about Dodge Trucks! I sure am excited about mine.
