poor poor bumper....
Note to self: My stock height 2wd dakota can NOT go through 3ft drifts
got her stuck last night in a BIG *** drift and had to call my daddy. Funny though, went to pull it out from behind and my dumbness hooked the tow rope to my already rusted as hell bumper and things....bad things happend. But in the end it will all be good, now I can find/make a bumper trustworthy of pulling my boat
SORRY ABOUT THE SIZE
lets see some custom back bumpers by the way

That would not thrill me, though when i first read the post i thought that you ripped it in half or something, ****, with how it looks just kick it back into place or back up to something hard and lightly tap it and then gas it, that should straighten it up some
since were on that topic, i dont even know how badly my bumper is rusted, someone that owned the truck before me welded sheet metal over the whole center of my rear bumper

thats probably what imma do, go back into a light up at the local school (big yellow cement pillars around lights) but i need either a junkyarder or to make one for spring so i can pull my boat, i dont even think i would drag a tow rope behind me with that thing now!
That sucks dude! Good thing it wasn't caused by pulling a trailer. That could have been nasty!
I have been waiting for a reason to build myself a sweet bumper. I have it designed in Sketchup and AutoCAD. Might start cutting the pieces next week at work in the sheer.

That sucks. Glad mine has a proper tow hitch. Would have never considered using the hole on the bumper for that reason. Didn't realize they were that susceptible to rust.

Your lucky it was only the bumper and not the back half of the frame like my buddy's car... I took my Turk through a six ft snow drift once, thank heaven it was light and powdery but she went through like a pro. last blizzard we got over here was just over a foot of snow and 30mph winds...
why dont you have a proper to hitch? specially if you towing things with a rusted bumper that makes me shiver just thinking about the consequences. i live in fl so i see ALOT of trailer incidents where people have thought there bumpers could hold up to it. and i have seen some NASTY accidents followed suit. i laughed at each of them too because the destroyed there $10-$30,000 boats over something as minute as a 200$ trailer hitch...... just sayin....
