Started this thread to see what a cop has done to your dakota. and only related to your dakota, not like any responses like "I sold crack to little kids," lets keep this professional k. I will be starting this one of with an event about a week ago, I was working at my job and I took a break so I can fire up my truck "it backfires still" So when I did it started to back fire and it sorta sounded like a gun. Well just as you know it a cop was passing through heard the noise, he came running in towards my truck and pulled his gun aiming at my head through the window. yelling at me. Of course I was firghtened and did what he said I then told him what happened and how it back fires so he tried to write me for a ticket of having a straight pipe on my truck and I told him i actually have two mufflers on it. After enough b/s around he finally let off and said sorry, I told him he doesn't have to cause its his job and he was acting in the best interest. So that is probably my most scarest moment with a cop, what is yours? and please comment.

they banged up my rear bumper twice. the first time i broke down on the freeway and in the interest of safety i allowed him to push my truck with his. the second time was when i got bust for trespassing(offroading) and the pushed my truck out of the area for the flatbed. both times i was complimented on how little rust there was on the body and how i managed to pull off a trans swap with no prior knowledge of cars. but other than that it wasnt bad. no if this thread was about other drivers actions towards our dakotas i'd have over 12 pages of reading material...lol

 

I think it coulld swing both way just in a relation with cops and a dakota. Though just nothing that is really bad like the eample I have given at the start cause you really wants to hear that eh. Like I could give you guys another thing that happen actuallly yesterday when i passed by some cops giving out photoradar tickets. I was on the top of the hill just giving the truck a healthy dose of gas and I saw them in the corner of my eye the male cop was pulling his gun on me so I slammed on my brakes skidding for about 10 feet away, They all looked shocked and called me behind one of there cruisers. Were I told them my story and b/s my way through a ticket but they want me to get my brakes certified by a mechanic or add new brakes on them I now have 14 days to do it. and sorry to hear about the bumper I had ppl push me on there bumpers and it has always been there car or truck that has been suffering afterwards.

 

i don't mind it though...it gives me a chance to perfect my body working skills...lol the only time they let me down is when some guy had road rage towards me and when i called i nthe plates they said there was nothing they could do...since then that police department has been disbanded...

 

surprisingly i only get thumbs up in my town from cops. they leave me pretty well alone.....
