bought another dakota...
yep... just brought it home. 91' dakota 4x4 v6(sadly) with 98k on the odometer, cam upgrade and the rusty fenders mod. paid $500 for it and all it needs is a new wire run to the starter, new front brake line(passenger side), exhaust manifold gasket(drivers side) and an ignition switch...atleast to get it back to driveable...lol but the front fenders are rusted out as is the bottom front of the left door.
after the brakes are fixed and the starter wire is fixed she will be spraybombed black and the rise of shadowII will commence(insert evil laughter here).

The floor had apparently rusted out around the wheel areas, and they felt the need to use, in one location, a grout sponge, in another, a grinding wheel(or saw blade, cant tell), and in another location, believe it or not, an ocean spray juice bottle. All of these were affixed with household expanding insulation. The floor was made of rotting plywood.
My phone, and hence, camera was dead, but i will get pics another day.
When i saw that you got this for $500, i was like "ok, im scouring craigstlist right now" because i love this model of truck, and would like a spare(running, not just a parts truck). But then i saw how much was wrong with it. What i love, though, is that you can fix all that in a day or two.
