not happy with shockwarehouse.com
my truck was in dire need of new shocks front and rear...i looked around online a found shockware.com...prices were good, free shipping on orders over $95..i had a relatively small budget of about $120..so i order some kyb gr-2's and a set of rear brake shoes on sept 15...about 10 days later i got my brake shoes...about 5 days go by so i send two emails asking about my shocks...no reply..so i call..the say my rear shocks are there, front shocks are on backorder, they were waiting for the fronts so they could send them as a set..so i ask can you go ahead a get those rear's out to me, i really need them..ok well send them right out tomorrow...10 days go by...no shocks...another email...no reply..i call back...they say sorry the rear's are still sitting here, we don't know why they didn't go out to you, we'll get them right out, they are still waiting on the fronts..so about a week or so goes by, i get the rears...so a couple of weeks ago, i fire another email off checking the status of the fronts, no reply...i call and they say they are still waiting for the fronts from kyb...i feel like this customer service is some of the worse i have experienced in while..should i just ask for a refund on the front shocks and go somewhere else??.i have a bad left front shock and have been putting undo stress on ball joints, tires, etc..all this time...its been almost 2 months and i'm getting fed up with the whole thing..sorry for the long post but maybe someone else can save themselves a headache and go somewhere else to spend their money..i know i will
KYB shocks are made about 15 mins form my house. I know that when I was at an auto store the other day I asked about KYB shocks and they said that there are some that they can't get anymore. And some that are on backorder. I think that your best bet is to call them and cancel the front shocks. And try a website called www.rockauto.com I have used them for multiple vehicles and have had no problems what so ever. That is the first place I look for parts, cause they usually have whatever I am looking for and their prices are the cheapest that I have found so far. Give them a try. I was just looking there for shocks for my truck, and they are 20-30 dollars cheaper than an auto store... Let me know what you come up with.
