Leaving a old friend behind
Well it has finally come to an end. I am finally departing from my first love, my Dakota. Aka DevilsDakota. It was about 5 years ago went I acquired the beauty. Showing off its flaking paint, extensive rust, and 20 years of dirt since the previous owner never washed the vehicle. And only for a mere 250 dollars I was able to get you.
As the years went on, we countered the good times and the bad times, from street racing and beating vehicles way above your credit, to replacing fuel pumps, repainting you 3 separate occasion, and finally fixing the unfixable worm gear drive bushing among other repairs.
I enjoyed pleasures and scared while you were mine, like showing off your beauty at car shows, road trips through the mountains, and racing on some gravel roads. As well you scared children with the growl of your exhaust, leaving me in a ditch on my birthday with my best bud, and nearly crashing an WAY to many of occasions.
You will be missed my first love, first vehicle, and I will always remember you.

Are you going to buy another Dakota? If not, sorry to see you leave. I got to ask, what are you racing and beating with a v6 Dakota? I find pretty much everything except for a horse drawn buggy to be faster then mine!! But I didn't get it to race.
Mostly rangers, s10, and other dodges. We were able to win against a few cars to like new monte carlos and neon/sunfires. I also manage to beat a bmw once. Though I did a few upgrades on my v6 so it became quite peppy. It did eventually tired out near the end. And yes, I went and bought another Dakota, a 1992 5.2L 2wd ext cab. Planning to make that my new project car. Called her the ugly cousin, because the body is just horrible looking.
