I was wondering if there is any way that you can find a decoder that tells you all about the specs of your truck i have a 1995 dakota sport 5 speed 5.2 and need to find out front differential ratio and there is no tags on diffs and the hood tag has been ripped off and i was wondering if there was a way you could look up a vin decoder that told you the ratios if anyone can help me find a decoder or wants to compare their vins so i know mine has the same equipment i would greatly appreciate it thanks.

 

Not directly, no, but if you'll look in the Second Gen Dakota forum, there's a link to get the build sheet. They only go back 25 years, so I'm out of luck on my 1988, but your 1995 is within the range.
