Tail light fuse repeated blow
When I first blew this fuse, I took the tail light pods out and inspected the wiring. Possible wear spot. Insulated that, put the wires into a shield for any future wear. Also check wiring in against the firewall in engine compartment for wear. All looked OK. Problem returned after some time. Checked the pods again. Look fine. Up front, OK. With winter and some wet weather, wondering if there may be a moisture issue somewhere under the bed? Anyone else with similar problems. Wondering if a bed removal is in order to check out everything. Would be easy to check my fuel pump at that time also. Truck is not used much. Sets under cover.
If you're going to pull the bed anyway, I'd highly consider the fuel pump and all rubber under there.
And if it's not driven much, keep a line on the material to replace the hard lines for the brakes, especially as close to the Pacific ocean as you are.

Right Ralph. If I decide to pull the bed off, will do it right. over 50 miles to the pacific where I live and the Olympics in the way. Corrosion is not a noticeable issue here. You see original early 70 vehicles often here, and in the used often category. Along with a guy down the road with an original boss mustang.
Brake lights never blow the fuse on this truck. May take a look at wiring at the inside fuse block to see if there may be a wearing issue? Electrical issues are always all fun.
