Default Weatherstripping

Hello, my 1989 Dakota needs the outer lower door weatherstripping replaced. I removed the door panel and am only able to get to 2 of the screws on the strip to remove.
The window will not go down far enough to remove the remaining screws. Help

If its like my 1994, the window doesn't need to come out but will need to be dropped as low as it can go in the door. For me that required drilling out the rivets which attachs the glass to the regulator.

Read the link there is no need to remove the rivets to drop the glass inside the door all the way out of the track. 3 bolts for the crank and two screws for the stop block.

Mine got stuck and bound trying to do it that way, in lieu of forcing it and potentially cracking the glass, I chose to drill the rivets. ymmv

fwiw: I wasn't particularly keen on drilling them out. In fact, I wasted more time trying to figure out a way to not drill them, than the actual drilling took.

Thank you, I did not have to drill the rivets. I just started unbolting things. Yes, I just dropped the window all the way down and was able to slide the channel off the back of the window. Hopefully I can reverse the procedure without breaking those black tabs that go in the channel. Thank you all for the responses
