My '94 suspension is wonky
Hey guys; I hit a road bump with my '94 truck and it started bouncing like a mexican low rider. had to almost come to a stop to make it quit. is it safe to drive? do i need front shocks ya think or what? Thanks a lot
Something ain't right.
You need a repair.
What - I dunno from here, but if the shocks are over 30,000 miles or so, yah, I'd look hard at new shocks all around.
However, you could also have problems with the ball joints or tie rods.
Is your truck 2WD or 4WD? Is it lifted or lowered?

I'd do the shocks first then. That may be all it is.
Hrm hrm ...
I loved the KYB Gas-A-Justs I had; I love the new Rancho RS5000 series shocks even more over Louisiana roads. From Amazon, the Ranchos came in at about $225 or so for all four wheels.
THAT said - the main reason I swapped was I thought the KYBs had failed early, but it turned out the upper end of the passenger shock had come loose (one bolt fell out and the other one couldn't hold it.)
Check your PMs.

To heck with it ... here's the PM:
Tell you what.
Let me box up the old KYBs (which are still probably good!), pay for shipping (I'll get them weighed tomorrow), and I'll ship my old 2WD KYBs to you.
One of the rears has a dented dust cover, but it'll stroke past it (not dented that bad); I'd hit it with some paint where the factory paint was scraped off bouncing against the rear spring.
