I have a 96 Dodge Dakota and was wondering if a front bumper for a 2nd gen Dakota would mount on seeing as how I can't find any custom bumpers for my truck looking for an off-road Style
These pics were taken this year.....custom made and installed 1st gen 2nd gen whatever. Took 3 days and under $250. Where in the world is this?....ENSENADA, BAJA CA. MEXICO. 75 miles south of San Diego. I live here am a gringo and love it. Let me know if I can give more info. a little far away taken from a drone video It's heavy duty, had to take the winch out until I can beef up the bumper rails
2nd Gen doesn't conform to the front end parts of the 1st gen trucks. It might bolt up if you could get it in place but I think you'd be lucky to do that. Besides, the 2nd gen bumpers were really junk and rusted / rotted out bad, much quicker than the 1st gen bumpers. I can still find good 1st gen bumpers pretty easy. I had planned to change to 1st gen painted bumper (from chrome) but the JY I wanted it from up and squished that truck before I could get it.
I always figured if I lost the factory bumper I'd bolt on a double 2x8 or something like that.
