damn O2 sensor
I finally decided to work on replacing the thing and man oh man, I hoped and I prayed but turns out I need to take my dak to a shop and have them heat it up with an oxy just to get it off. That sucker seems like it is fused to the Y-pipe (its still stock so it is 13 years old). For some reason the socket just kept on slipping off of the sensor I even had another person pry the socket down on top of the socket to keep it from lifting but still no good. I can tell that the sensor is absolutly destroyed now because a fully loaded Ford van out ran me from a dead stop when I was at 3000rpm lol, poor thing doesnt have much "oomph" right now.
Just got it back from the shop, they tried everything for an hour: oxy, air chizel, etc. and never got it off(no charge at least) so now I have to get the section cut out at a muffler shop. This is starting to become the most complicated O2 sesnor replacement I have ever herd of.
