ok now this makes me wonder, Do you have an oxygen sensor? it should be plugged into your exaust right next to the transmission pan just before the Y-Pipe

all i have on mine(where the cat was) is the O2 sensor in the pipe. ah looking at the pic it says through 91. mine is a 93, it doesnt have that. im thinking you could cut the cat off and have the muffler guy weld that 1/2 inch or so air pipe into the new pipe.

^^^^ya, thats the O2 sensor. but I would just go buy a highflow cat rather than take your old cat off and leave it off.

I wasnt going to take it to a muffler shop to get done, i was going to put it on my ramps and grab my dremal and give er.
